Ms. Herwick has been recognized for, and is passionate about, her involvement with the Center for Head Injury Services, an organization that helps provide rehabilitation and employment opportunities for people who have suffered traumatic brain injuries. Job carving for people with disabilities is in the forefront of her personal mission statement in this area. Ms. Herwick employs a number of clients from the Center for Head Injury Services. She has received a certificate of appreciation for her panel discussions in Jefferson City at the Annual Missouri Head Injury Advisory Council Conference and an employer of the year award from the Center for Head Injury Services. She was also appointed to serve on the National Women's Business Council and the Missouri Head Injury Advisory Council.
