Bio:

John Stacey, President and CEO with Satellnet, Inc. has over 28 years of experience specializing in business strategies, telecommunications, global outsourcing and offshoring, and transformation. Mr. Stacey focuses on proactive financial and operational performance improvement and value creation services to support clients in identifying, quantifying, planning, and realizing improvement opportunities to drive performance excellence across the life cycle of engagements. John has advised clients across a wide range of organizational issues including business process redesign, outsourcing business processes and IT infrastructure, strategic and operational realignment, policy changes, technology implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and business process re-engineering.  

Mr. Stacey has provided strategic consulting services to a number of the world's largest corporations. Industry experience includes banking, financial services, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors in which he has led matters involving contract negotiations, multi-vendor management for global outsourcing initiatives, commercial disputes, and client / vendor negotiations. Mr. Stacey has assisted companies in evaluating performance improvement opportunities across the organization including go-to-market operations, and corporate support functions. Through these engagements he has led clients in the areas of benchmarking, business process analysis, business and financial planning, prioritization analysis, ROI and business case analysis, performance measurement and management, and program management.

Prior to joining Satellnet, Mr. Stacey was with BearingPoint's (formerly KPMG Consulting) infrastructure, process and transformation group and led the company's multi-vendor outsourcing value creation team. His prior experience includes corporate restructuring, valuation consulting, and major global outsourcing initiatives with British Telecom, EDS, and US West Communications, and started his career in economics as a division controller at Peat-Marwick.
